Dear Valued Patient,
With the recent news regarding the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to reassure you that Lakemoor Dental remains committed to protecting the health and safety of our patients and team members.
Our priority is to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment every time you visit. We continue to follow strict infection control protocols based on the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Illinois Dental Board, as well as recommendations from our own Quality Management Team of full-time dentists who support our offices daily.
The CDC has indicated that the risk of exposure remains low for most people, and we are maintaining our rigorous sanitation procedures to keep it that way. Every dental chair, headrest, and surface is thoroughly disinfected after each patient. Our doctors and staff use new masks and gloves for every visit, and sterilized dental tools are prepared for each procedure. Common areas such as front desks and lobbies are disinfected frequently throughout the day as an added precaution.
When you arrive for your appointment, we will ask you to complete a brief health and travel questionnaire and temperature screening. Patients with a temperature of 100.4°F or higher, or who are experiencing flu-like symptoms (such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath), will be asked to reschedule for a later date when symptoms have resolved. Thank you for helping us keep our community healthy.
To ensure everyone’s safety, please note the following check-in policies:
-
Temperature checks will be performed upon arrival.
-
Adults: Please attend your appointment alone.
-
Parents: Only bring the child who has the scheduled appointment.
-
Curbside waiting: After check-in, patients may be asked to wait in their vehicles to limit the number of people inside the office. We’ll text or call you when it’s time to come in.
Our offices continue to serve as your Dental Home, proudly providing trusted care for you and your family. We remain open and ready to meet your dental needs with compassion, precision, and the highest safety standards.
