Education:
As a Dentist, you must have a strong work ethic, an outgoing and personable chair-side manner and the desire to improve within the dental field. You must also be flexible and open to new ways of doing things and able to lead and manage a team.
Educational requirements of the Dentist – General Dental Doctor – DDS/DMD include:
- DMD or DDS degree
- Current dental license in state of Illinois
- Ability to travel Between multiple offices
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience a plus, none required
Responsibilities
As a Dentist with Lakemoor Dental, you will be the leader of the practice while working. You will manage the dental office team, mediate any conflicts that arise and promote a positive and team-oriented work environment where high-quality patient care is the number one priority.

Dentist – General Dental Doctor – DDS/DMD
Description:

We are seeking a self-motivated Dentist to provide high-quality lifetime patient care in a fast-paced and well-established practice. As a Dentist with Lakemoor Dental, you will perform general clinical dentistry procedures such as exams, direct and indirect restorative work, tooth extractions and any other dental procedures. You will also provide endodontic care, perform crown and bridge procedures and provide fixed and removable prosthodontics care.

Qualifications
Educational requirements:
- DMD or DDS degree
- Current dental license in state of hire
- Completion of oral surgery residency program
- Ability to travel Between multiple offices
- Minimum 12 months experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Oral Surgeon include:
- Remove impacted, damaged and non-restorable teeth
- Administer general and local anesthetics
- Treat infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaws and neck
- Treat issues with the oral mucosa, including mouth ulcers and infections
- Evaluate wisdom tooth position to determine if current issues exist or will develop in the future
- Advise and instruct patients regarding preventative dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, and oral health care services
- Collaborate with other dental professional in effectively carrying out treatment
- Advance your clinical skills and acumen through participation in continuing education and training opportunities supported by Lakemoor Dental
- Possess a strong work ethic, outgoing personality, good communication skills, manual dexterity and a personable chair-side manner
- Follow all government regulations, including state dental board rules, as well as HIPPA and OSHA regulations
Dental Assistant:
As a Dental Assistant at a Lakemoor Dental office, you must have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, excellent patient care
skills and strong organizational skills.
Additional requirements for the Dental Assistant include:
Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Ability to build rapport with patients
Good manual dexterity
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs
Ability to travel at minimum one time per quarter for training;
X-ray certification required in the state for which you apply
Previous work experience in a dental practice is a plus
Education:
Dental assisting school certificate is a plus
